I am a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at Columbia University. For the 2026-2027 academic year, I will be a Lecturer in Philosophy at Smith College.
I'm interested in the philosophy of language and mind. My current research focuses on the semantics and pragmatics of socially meaningful language, like sociolinguistic variants, honorifics, register, slang, and jargon.
Before coming to Columbia, I completed an M.Phil. in History and Philosopy of Science at the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. in Philosophy at Williams College.
