Starting Fall 2026, I will be a Lecturer in Philosophy at Smith College.

I'm interested in the philosophy of language, social metaphysics, and social epistemology. My current research focuses on the semantics and pragmatics of socially meaningful language, and explores phenomena such as style shifting, dialect continua, sociolinguistic variation, slang, register, and honorifics.

I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from Columbia University. Before that, I completed an M.Phil. in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Williams College.
